       Under the overall education framework of our university, we updated our curriculum in 2007:

       (1) Increase credits on mathematics and basic courses; enrich “Operations Research” as a multiple level course.

       (2) Increase credits on practical courses: design course projects for key major courses; add new course “IE experiments” as an integrated practice training.

       (3) Set up optional course modules for manufacturing and service respectively. For manufacturing modules, students can take courses with mechanical engineering students. For service modules, some new courses are developed, such as “Big Data Analysis”, “Product Engineering”, and “Social Statistics” etc.
